your transitional aging questions and problems through pamphlets, agency referrals, or personal contact within the communities
of Noble County.
Noble Transit System
Need a ride? Call Noble Transit System
at 260-347-4226 and ask for Dee. Be sure to call early. Give at least 24 hour notice to schedule a ride.
Foot Clinic
The Foot Clinic is provided by "The Foot Connection." Toni
Mowery is here every 1st. Thursday in the even months and the 2nd. Wednesday of every month from 9 a.m.
to 2:30 p.m. Feet are soaked in bubble bath (5 to 10 minutes), dried and inspected for areas of specific care.
Nails are cut, thinned if needed and buffed. Callouses can be shaved or sanded. Any complicating problems found
may be referred to a Podiatrist of the client's choice. Lotion is applied with a gentle massage. All tools are
sterilized with alcohol after each client's use. Client is responsible for bringing a towel to each appointment along
with a foot basin. Please call for an appointment at 260-347-4226. The cost is $22.
Medical & Health Insurance Assistance
This service is provided by trained volunteers
through the SHIP program. A representative is available every Thursday helping with health insurance and Medicare filing,
etc. Donations are appreciated.
Tax Assistance
Call for an appointment for assistance
in filing federal and state income tax forms. This service is provided every Wednesday from February 3rd.
through April 15th. There is no fee but donations are appreciated.
Homemaking
Our homemakers provide light housekeeping
services for the elderly and disabled residents of Noble County. Please call Joyce Hogge for more information about

Emergency Response Systems
This ADT Emergency Response System is designed
for people who live alone or who have a medical condition that requires 24 hour access to help. The ADT Emergency Response
System can be installed in your home for $49.95 set up fee and has a monthly fee of $29.95. Call for more information

Golden Age Gazette Newsletter
The monthly newsletter is published by
the NCCOA staff. The purpose is to provide information on assistance programs, local events and activities sponsored
by the NCCOA. Subscriptions are $6.00 a year.
